I once heard someone say, “Honesty doesn’t always come in gentle words, but it is always more respectful.”
That stayed with me.
Because honesty has always been one of my core values.
Not because it’s easy. But because it’s necessary.
Real leadership requires the kind of honesty that names what is true, even when it would be easier to soften it, delay it, or dress it up in language that makes everyone feel temporarily at ease.
